Situated in the north-central region of West Virginia upon the Appalachian Plateau, the office of Booth & McCarthy is located in Bridgeport, Harrison County, West Virginia, at the crossroads of Interstate 79 and U.S. Route 50.  Interstate 79 is the major North- South corridor through West Virginia, while U.S. Route 50 serves as an East-West corridor through the state. Interstate 79, which has been designated the "Technology Corridor" is home to such entities as the Federal Bureau of Investigation-Criminal Justice Information Services Division and the NASA Research Center. 

Harrison County, which is known for its business-oriented atmosphere, has population of approximately 70,000 people (2000 census).  Bridgeport is within forty-five miles of four major institutions of higher education, including West Virginia University, Fairmont State University, West Virginia Wesleyan and Salem University.
